
Like many busy business owners in Newcastle, Shane had tried going to the gym on his own in the past. But without guidance, it quickly turned into ten minutes on the treadmill followed by a trip to Starbucks. Progress never came.
“I started looking at my body and noticed I was gaining a lot of weight. It happened gradually. I looked back at old photos and realised I used to be much slimmer." I tried gyms before, but I didn’t know what I was doing.”
Between running multiple shops and constantly being on his feet at work, Shane used tiredness as a reason to skip exercise.
