From App-Based Workouts to a Real Physical Transformation losing 10kg

Before joining the program, Gareth believed he could manage his fitness goals on his own, using a fitness app and self-motivation to get by. But like many others, he quickly realised that real results required more than just convenience and guesswork.

“I thought I could just follow an app and get there on my own. But I wasn’t really making progress. I didn’t know what I was aiming for, and I wasn’t pushing myself.”

He was familiar with some basic exercises but never felt confident enough to push into more challenging lifts. Without a structured progression, he was stuck in a comfort zone — going through the motions but not building real results.

“I never would’ve gone near barbell exercises like RDLs or squats. I thought those were for serious bodybuilders. Now, I’m in there doing them myself — and loving it.”

Today, he lifts heavier, moves better, and feels stronger than ever. His confidence in the gym has grown massively, and so has his understanding of how to train properly.

“I used to pick and choose random exercises. Now I actually know what I’m working toward, and I’m seeing consistent progress.”
