What exactly will we be covering?
4 Expert Speakers, 1 Transformative Event: The Most Vital Topics in Women’s Health
Here's what we are covering:
Perimenopause and menopause bring unique challenges, including hormonal shifts, reduced bone density, and changes in recovery capacity. This session will provide strategies to support clients through these life stages.
Many clients silently struggle with pelvic floor issues like prolapses or incontinence. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of these topics and learn how to help them with both sensitivity and skill.
Learn how body image influences client behaviours and discover strategies to promote healthier relationships with food. This session will cover how to identify and address these challenges effectively, but also help you identify when to refer out for specialist help & advice.
Many clients may unknowingly show signs of disordered eating or be at risk of eating disorders, making it crucial for Personal Trainers to recognise and address these patterns. This session will teach you how to screen for issues, provide non-judgmental support, and confidently refer clients to specialists when needed.
Conditions like endometriosis and PCOS can significantly impact women’s health and fitness journeys. This session will help you understand these conditions and develop strategies to manage their symptoms effectively. You’ll learn how to adapt training plans to account for pain, fatigue, and hormonal imbalances, while providing realistic timelines and goals that align with your clients’ unique health needs.
RED-S, caused by under-fuelling relative to activity levels, affects performance, recovery, and overall health in female clients. This session will teach you to identify warning signs and address them effectively. You’ll gain the skills to educate clients on the importance of energy balance, adjust their nutrition plans, and ensure their training programmes support recovery and long-term health.
Hypothalamic amenorrhoea, often resulting from stress, under-eating, or overtraining, leads to the loss of periods and impacts hormonal health. In this session, you’ll learn to recognise early signs of this condition and guide clients toward recovery by adjusting their training load, encouraging sustainable eating habits, and supporting their overall hormonal health.
